Potential Service Disruption During Severe Weather

The safety of our customers and drivers is our top priority. There are times when ice and snow can result in changes to Owen Sound Transit's and GOST's existing schedule on short notice. Delays are likely during icy conditions, and poor visibility and full-service cancellations can occur when travel of any kind is determined to be unsafe.

When a change to scheduled service is required, customer alerts are posted on the City's website as soon as possible. For the most up-to-date information, people can check owensound.ca/transit or for GOST service, call Voyago directly at 519-465-0783

Intercommunity Transit

GOST (Guelph Owen Sound Transportation) is a public transportation service connecting people from Owen Sound to Guelph and stops in between including Chatsworth, Williamsford, Durham, Mount Forest, Arthur, Fergus and Elora.

Connections can be made in Owen Sound or in Guelph to travel further.

Fare Structure

The Owen Sound to Guelph bus charges you based on what 'zone' you are travelling in. The chart below shows how much it costs to get from one town to the next. Exact cash payable to the bus driver only, no advance tickets are available at this time.

Bus Stop Locations

The GOST runs 7 days per week including all holidays except for Christmas Day. The first bus leaves the Owen Sound Transit Terminal at 7:30am and the second bus leaves at 2:30pm.
