2nd Ave West Closed (8th St to Moore's Hill) for Emergency Watermain Repair

UPDATE at 3 PM: The main has been repaired, flushing for clarity is taking place.  Estimated time for road opening is between 4-5 p.m. on Thursday, August 1.

Due to a watermain break, 2nd Avenue West is currently closed between 8th Street West and the base of Moore's Hill.  The City is asking motorists to avoid the area as they undertake the emergency watermain repair.  

Residents in the area may notice reduced water pressure.  The estimated time for repair completion has not yet been determined.
