Ball Hockey in the River District Closes Roads

On Saturday, May 4, the River District will host the inaugural Brightshores Ball Hockey “Cellybration,” a 3-on-3 Ball Hockey Tournament in support of local healthcare. 

The following road closures will begin at 12 p.m. on Friday, May 3 and remain closed through to Sunday, May 5 at 12 p.m. 

• 2nd Avenue East from 8th Street East to 10th Street East
• 9th Street East from 1st Avenue East to 3rd Avenue East

Businesses will remain accessible throughout the closure. Parking is available in nearby municipal lots and on-street where permitted. 

All road users are reminded to remain alert and use caution when travelling through the area to ensure the continued safety of all roadway users.
