Bayshore Community Centre Walking Track to Close for Summer During Building Upgrades

The walking track at the Bayshore Community Centre will be closed to the public beginning April 25, 2025, until early September. This closure is necessary to allow for capital project work, including the replacement of the arena slab floor, arena boards, and safety netting, as well as the repainting of the upper concourse and washrooms.

While the walking track is closed, the main floor washrooms will remain open to the public Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with rentals in the community halls continuing as scheduled.

The Owen Sound Attack box office and merchandise store will also remain open during construction, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

These projects are part of the Bayshore Community Centre’s ongoing five-year capital plan, which focuses on upgrading aging infrastructure to improve the facility's appearance, safety, and overall user experience.  For more information about the City’s capital projects, visit OwenSound.ca/Budget.
