Future Owen Sound – Vision 2050: We’re Pleased to Introduce our Strategic Planning Session Co-Facilitators!
We're just a few days away from the launch of the Future Owen Sound — Vision 2050 strategic planning sessions. Again, these sessions will be held at various times from November 8th to November 10th at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre (Shore Room 2), 1900 3rd Avenue East in Owen Sound.
In keeping with the City's commitment to deepen community engagement in this current strategic planning process, we've embraced Jay Pitter Placemaking's model. This model is centred on acknowledging local insights and collective learning. To achieve this goal, Ms. Pitter's practice developed information briefs related to each priority including evidence-based information, key facts and considerations focused on Owen Sound's local context, and precedents from other communities. This information is intended to support thoughtful and productive conversations. We encourage you to take a moment to review.
Another important aspect of Jay Pitter Placemaking's community engagement model is ensuring that community stakeholders are a part of the community engagement team. Ms. Pitter has worked closely with a group of local leaders with varied interests and expertise in preparation for the upcoming strategic planning sessions.
We are proud to announce our esteemed roster of Future Owen Sound – Vision 2050 strategic planning co-facilitators. Scroll below to learn more about their professional accomplishments and reason for co-facilitating their respective sessions.
