Notice of Road Closure on 2nd Avenue West on Monday, April 22

A section of 2nd Avenue West will be closed for several hours beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 22 to complete necessary Hydro One infrastructure work.  

2nd Avenue West from 4th Street West to 8th Street West and from 4th Avenue West to 6th Street West (including Moore’s Hill) will be fully closed to vehicular traffic.  

3rd Street ‘A’ West and 4th Street West between 2nd Avenue East and 2nd Avenue West will be closed with access to local traffic only. 

Pedestrian access will be limited in the construction zone during the closure as overhead work takes place. Hydro One Staff will address pedestrian guidance as needed. 

Please allow for additional travel time and consider alternate routes of travel where possible. All road users are reminded to remain alert and use caution when travelling through the area to ensure the continued safety of all roadway users.
