One Week Remaining to Complete the Short-Term Rental One-Year Review Survey

Owen Sound City Council approved a Short-Term Rental (STR) By-law on December 4, 2023, with licensing requirements taking effect on March 1, 2024. As part of the City’s ongoing commitment to the community, a one-year review of the STR licensing program survey is available and seeking public input.

Whether you're an STR operator, a visitor, or a neighbour, your feedback is invaluable. Please take a few moments to complete the online survey at OurCity.OwenSound.ca/STRs, which will help shape the future of STRs in Owen Sound. To date, the City has received 140 responses.

The survey is open until March 14, 2025, and the staff report will be presented on April 9, 2025, to the Service Review Implementation Ad Hoc Committee.

For more information, please contact Briana Bloomfield, City Clerk, at 519-376-4440 ext. 1247 or email bbloomfield@owensound.ca.
