Owen Sound Triathlon Road Closures

Several road closures will take place this Sunday, July 28, 2024, beginning at 7:00 am to accommodate the Owen Sound Triathlon. Delays should be expected; please allow for additional travel time and consider alternate routes of travel where possible. 

Police will be present along the routes to ensure the safe passage of participants throughout the duration of the event. However, all road users are encouraged to remain cautious and alert when travelling through the area to ensure the safety of all roadway users.

ROAD CLOSURES:

Full Closures

• 1st Avenue West from pedestrian bridge to 10th Street bridge
• Right turn lane (onto 1st Ave West) on 10th street bridge
• 1st Avenue East/17th Street East to 2nd turn-around point (area immediately south of Miller Silos)

Local Traffic Only 

• 11th Street West, from 1st Avenue to 2nd Avenue
• 12th Street West, from 1st Avenue to 2nd Avenue
• 13th Street West, from 1st Avenue to 2nd Avenue
• 14th Street West, from 1st Avenue to 2nd Avenue
• 11th Street East from 1st Avenue to 2nd Avenue
• 17th Street East (from Miller Silos) to 2nd Avenue East
