Canada Post Strike

Canada Post workers began strike action on November 15, 2024, leading to delays in service.

As a result, residents may experience significant delays in receiving their water bill in the mail.  Please note that the payment due date remains the same, regardless of if the bill is received in the mail.

Sign up for e-billing here to ensure you receive water (and tax) bills through email, and review payment options here.  The City of Owen Sound is requesting that residents DO NOT send payment through the mail during the postal strike.

Public Notice of Special County of Grey Joint All Councils Meeting on August 8, 2024

Please be advised that a Special County of Grey Joint All Councils meeting will be held with the County of Grey and all of its lower tier municipalities.

The purpose of the joint meeting is to discuss shared service delivery and service efficiencies. The meeting will be held electronically on August 8, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. and will be livestreamed to the County of Grey YouTube Channel. The agenda is available for review on the County of Grey’s website.
