Canada Post Strike

Canada Post workers began strike action on November 15, 2024, leading to delays in service.

As a result, residents may experience significant delays in receiving their water bill in the mail.  Please note that the payment due date remains the same, regardless of if the bill is received in the mail.

Sign up for e-billing here to ensure you receive water (and tax) bills through email, and review payment options here.  The City of Owen Sound is requesting that residents DO NOT send payment through the mail during the postal strike.

Public Notice: Tom Thomson Art Gallery Advisory Committee to hold Special Meeting Regarding Fundraising

October 23, 2024

Please be advised that the Tom Thomson Art Gallery Advisory Committee will hold a special meeting regarding fundraising on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at the Owen Sound and North Grey Union Public Library Auditorium from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The agenda will be available for review prior to the meeting on the Council and Committee Meetings page of the City’s website on Friday October 25, 2024. The meeting will be open to the public but will not be livestreamed.
