River District Municipal Parking Lot Closures for One World Festival 

On Wednesday, June 19, 2024, Municipal lots 6 & 8 will be closed to the public as The Owen Sound Farmer’s Market Square will be host to the 2024 One World Festival. Motorists visiting the River District will experience increased pedestrian volume and a reduction in available parking in the area. Parking will be available in area municipal lots that remain open as well as where permitted on-street. 

To ensure the continued safety of all roadway users, all road users are reminded to remain alert and use caution when travelling through the area and consider alternate routes and parking options where possible.

The City of Owen Sound is dedicated to providing information to ensure that residents of affected areas are well-informed about interruptions.
