Road Closure on 3rd Avenue East 1700 Block – November 18 - 29

Beginning on Monday, November 18, 2024, a road closure is required on 3rd Avenue East, between 17th Street East and 18th Street East. This closure is expected to last through Friday, November 29, 2024.  The road closure is required to complete a necessary gas main repair in this area of 3rd Avenue East.

During the closure, there will be no vehicular through-traffic access. Access from the South (17th Street East) will be available to local traffic only.  Delays should be expected; please follow detours, allow for additional travel time, and consider alternate routes of travel where possible. 

Road users are encouraged to remain cautious and alert when travelling in the area to ensure the safety of all roadway users.
