Some Harrison Park Trails and Roads Closed Due to Flooding

City staff have temporarily closed the following trails in Harrison Park due to flooding and flooding damage:

• Freedom Trail - 2nd Ave East to Restaurant Parking Lot
• Mile Drive Trail (entire trail)
• Harrison Park Campground Roads and Trails (all)
• Harrison Park Island (all traversing trails including playground)
• Harrison Park Pool Roads (entry and exit)

The trails and roads will open when flooding recesses and surfaces are safe for pedestrian and vehicular traffic.

The Harrison Park Inn Restaurant, Senior’s Centre and Community Centre remain open.  Access into the park through 1st Street East (regular entrance off 2nd Ave East) and through the Fitness Trail remains available currently.
