Summer Youth Program Registration Opening Soon with New Offerings!

Online registration for youth summer programs in Owen Sound will open Wednesday, March 1, 2023.  This includes registration for:

• Soccer Day Camp (July 4 - 7 and July 31 – August 4)
• Hockey Skills Development (8 week – 1-hour sessions)
• Power Skating (8 week – 1-hour sessions)

The focus of these camps is on skill development and offering affordable and inclusive recreation opportunities using City recreational assets.  Program age groups have been modified to reflect changes made within respective organizations and to accommodate increased participation numbers in younger age groups. 

NEW in 2023, the City of Owen Sound will be offering a variety of week-long day camps.

The tentative schedule and camp themes are as follows:

• July 10 - July 14, 2023 – Lacrosse Camp at JMRRC
• July 17 – July 21, 2023 – Harrison Park Sports Camp
• August 7 – August 11, 2023 – Hockey Camp at JMRRC
• August 14 – August 18, 2023 – Harrison Park Sports Camp

More details about the new week-long camps will be available on the City of Owen Sound’s Youth Programs webpage soon.  Registration for the new camps will open Wednesday, April 12, 2023.
