Live music in 13 locations in Owen Sound featuring musicians from across Ontario as well as well-known local solo artists, duos, and bands. Musicians will perform on Wednesdays from 4:30-6 p.m. Audience members bring their lawn chairs and enjoy live free music various parks and green spaces in the City.

11 Live music events on Sundays throughout summer starting on June 1 at the Owen Sound Visitor Centre featuring musicians from across Ontario as well as your favourite locals. Audience members bring their lawn chairs and enjoy 2 hours of free music with food trucks and vendors on-site.

This is a huge celebration taking place along the waterfront in beautiful Owen Sound, at Kelso Beach at Nawash Park and harbourfront area.

In-Kind Supply Sponsors

• In-kind donations are different than donations. It is a product or service in lieu of cash and, in most cases, a much-needed and appreciated form of donation. As with any event, businesses wish to donate something that is needed for the event, such as fencing, media, printing, portable washrooms, light towers, food & beverages for entertainers and volunteers, portable washrooms, children’s entertainment items and activities, tents, etc. Please let us know how you can help!

Doors Open Ontario is a province-wide heritage tourism program that gives the public free access to explore fascinating heritage properties across Ontario. It showcases 10-12 buildings, natural spaces, infrastructure, and cultural landscapes that shape and define our communities.

Doors Open Ontario began in 2002 as a means of connecting people to place by facilitating public access to compelling built and natural heritage sites that normally restrict regular access to the public, and to ensure that Ontario’s diverse heritage would be free to access by individuals and families of all socioeconomic backgrounds without barrier of cost.

The City has participated for several years in Doors Open Ontario and are planning to re-join this celebration of community heritage again in 2025.
