The City of Owen Sound is proud to be home to some exciting trail systems. Trail users can enjoy the sunsets from routes along the shores of the bay or the quiet strolls along the harbour walkway.
The world-famous Bruce Trail runs through the city and offers breathtaking scenery. The jewel of Owen Sound - Harrison Park - offers a selection of both hard surfaced and natural earthen trails extending into Grey Sauble Conservation land and Inglis Falls.
A section of the Tom Thomson Trail runs along the City's east shore and with plans to extend to the community of Meaford. Visitors can also find a 'rail trail' route on the west side of the city extending from the harbour into the Georgian Bluffs.
Owen Sound has four waterfalls within the city, all accessed by trails and waiting to be explored.
The City of Owen Sound provides trail enthusiasts with a variety of trail options: from walking to cycling, hiking to running, Owen Sound has it all!
The Owen Sound trails network links to the Tom Thomson Trail, and the Bruce Trail. We also work closely with Grey County, Grey Sauble Conservation Authority, and the Sydenham Bruce Trail Club to deliver high quality trails experiences to the region.
