The City of Owen Sound's conventional transit system is a four (4) route system operating during the day Monday through Saturday. Please see affected holiday hours below (Transit Hours).
All four routes provide ½ hour service from 6:30am to 6:00pm. All transit buses are fully accessible. Motorized scooters are not allowed on the conventional transit buses.
The City's GIS map shows all the routes, shelters and stops. Alternatively, our brochure can be downloaded and printed.
Hospital Pilot Project
Tried the new Crosstown Route to the Hospital Pilot Project? We want to hear from you!
Take our short survey and share your feedback to help shape the future of this service. Visit https://forms.office.com/r/U6cXLc2DP0?origin=lprLink to take our quick rider feedback survey.
Due to weather and other obstacles over the past month, the pilot project has been extended for another three months until July 3, 2025!
Effective January 27, 2025, the East Bayshore route will return to its original route picking up stops along 8th Street East. The Crosstown Route will continue to stop at the Hospital and travel along 10th Street East back to the Transit Terminal.
The pilot project will run until April 5, 2025, with an option to extend for an additional three months. Riders will be invited to provide feedback in an online survey in the coming months.
