The City of Owen Sound is once again hosting free live concerts this summer! Twelve performances will be part of the TD Harbour Nights concert series, and seventeen will be delivered as part of the new MidWeek Music program (formerly Music at the Market). Owen Sound residents and visitors can dive into the vibrant energy of live outdoor music from June through September.

Please be advised that The Corporation of the City of Owen Sound intends to adopt the proposed 2024 Fees and Charges By-law, in accordance with subsection 391(1) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25. 

The City of Owen Sound has saved more than $1.8M through the purchase of a Sutphen Aerial Fire Truck through GovDeals, an online auction of public sector assets. This 75’ Aerial will replace the existing 21-year-old truck that was due for replacement.

The provincial government is investing in local communities across Ontario to help them prepare and respond to natural disasters and emergencies.

This free, family-friendly event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on 8th Street East between 2nd and 3rd Avenue East. 

The Homecoming exhibition explores the role that Owen Sound played in Thomson’s artistic growth and his emergence as a national icon. Special events are scheduled for Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15.
