Ten positions are available on various City boards and committees. Persons wishing to serve as a member of a board or committee are invited to submit an application to the Deputy Clerk.
City staff will be installing the seasonal Noma cross-street lights and removing the banners along Second Avenue East on Thursday and Friday, closing one block at a time to minimize the disruption to visitors and businesses in the River District.
Please be advised that the River District Board of Management (RDBM) intends to hold a Public Meeting respecting the 2025 River District budget.
To better align with shorter daylight hours at this time of year, Owen Sound’s Leaf and Yard Waste site will close daily at 5 p.m. starting on Monday, November 4, 2024. It will still open for daily use to Owen Sound, Georgian Bluffs and Meaford residents at 8:30 a.m.

All community stakeholders, such as young families, business owners, not-for-profit workers, elders and students, are invited to register for and attend the strategic planning sessions.
Each session will address a priority established through the inclusive and comprehensive strategic planning survey process.
